How Does It Work
Paecilomyces lilacinus is an effective parasite of Meloidogyne incognita and Nemacystus albicans eggs, with an egg parasitism rate as high as 60%-70%. It helps in preventing and controlling various nematodes. The inhibition mechanism involves the fungus hyphae surrounding the egg, disrupting the egg shell, and invading it.
Dosage and Storage
- Planting: Apply 1.5 grams/square meter based on nematode infestation.
- Season-long Control: Reapply every 28 days.
- Cultivation: Apply 1.5 grams/square meter as a lay-by application, incorporating the spray into the soil profile. This should be used as a supplemental treatment after in-furrow application.
